Meet your CFO: Jeremy Wells
My name is Jeremy Wells, and I want to be your CFO (that means Chief Financial Officer). In life, work, and business, you need to be the CEO, or the Chief Everything Officer. Sometimes that gets to be too much. Money — especially uncertainty about money — can cause stress. This stress affects our personal, professional, and social lives.
I can help with that. As an Enrolled Agent, I can help you sort out your tax issues, plan ahead for any tax liabilities, and make sure you pay just the right amount of taxes, getting all the adjustments and deductions you deserve. If you run your own business, I can also help you manage the finances, including bookkeeping, producing financial statements, and running payroll.
I do all this with a straightforward monthly billing system. You never pay for hourly billing or by the form. You pay the same amount each month.
I wasn’t always an accountant, though; in fact, I recently made a career change out of higher education into accounting. I recently discussed this change on the Orthogonal podcast with my friend Brett Kelly and my mentor Andrew Carroll (part one and part two). Now I am, and I couldn’t be happier having the opportunity to serve my clients and help them with one of life’s most stressful issues.
